Our Shipping, Refunds, and Returns Policy
Thank you for shopping with Handfinished.store! We are committed to providing you with beautiful, high-quality jewellery, notebooks and art prints and a seamless shopping experience. Please read our policies carefully.
1. Shipping
Processing Time: All orders are processed within 2-3 business days (if not sooner). Please note that this does not include weekends or public holidays. For custom or made-to-order items, please refer to the product description for specific processing times, which may be longer.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
- Domestic Shipping (within NZ):
- Standard Shipping: FREE! – Courier with tracking number – Delivery estimate: 2-7 business days
- Express Shipping: $25.00 – Courier with tracking number and signature – Delivery estimate: 1-3 business days.
- International Shipping:
- Shipping rates and delivery times vary by destination. Please email info@handfinished.store for a quote on international shipping.
- Note: The customer is responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking: You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped, which will contain your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Shipping Address: Please ensure your shipping address is correct. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you need to change your address, please contact us immediately at info@handfinished.store. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to update the address after the order has been processed.
Lost or Damaged Items: Handfinished.store.is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
2. Refunds & Returns
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your item, we are here to help.
Eligibility for Returns:
- You have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
- The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it.
- It must be in its original packaging, including the jewellery box/bag and any authenticity cards.
- Items marked as “Final Sale” are not eligible for return or exchange.
- For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty.
How to Initiate a Return:
- Contact us at info@handfinished.store with your order number and the reason for the return.
- Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping address and instructions.
- Securely package the item and ship it back to us. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments.
Return Shipping Costs:
- Customers are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning their item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., you received the wrong or a faulty item), we will provide a prepaid shipping label.
Refunds:
- Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund.
- If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.
- You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
- The original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exchanges: We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process for the original item and place a new order for the desired item.
3. Damaged or Faulty Items
We take great care in crafting and packaging our jewellery. However, if you receive a damaged or faulty item, please contact us immediately at info@handfinished.store.with the following information:
- Your order number.
- A clear photo and/or video of the damaged or faulty item.
- A brief description of the issue.
We will assess the situation and work with you to find a resolution, which may include a replacement, repair, or a full refund.
